Summer Fun

I took a trip to Lake Tahoe, one to resupply my son who is hiking the PCT, and one to do my own training for a later hike this summer. 

These six hikers are part of a group of about 5,000 people who attempt to hike the PCT (Pacific Crest Trail) that spans from Mexico to Canada through the states of California, Oregon, and Washington. The journey usually takes about 5 months. The 5,000 figure comes from the fact that a maximum of 50 permits are issued per day during the hiking season that spans March - June.
